About The Human Connection

The Human Connection

For Everyday Relationships

Everyday relationships are the relationships we have with the people we encounter most in our lives – friends, roommates, family, significant others, coworkers, etc. When I speak to people about what it’s like to maintain relationships in their adult life, I encounter a lot of people who struggle in this area. Relationships are challenging whether it’s managing conflict, nurturing the relationship, or seeing where we need to grow in order to have thriving relationships. I created this place to help others better navigate these areas.

*DISCLAIMER*

I am not a mental health professional (though I have experience in the field, and aspire to study psychology further). However, I read and learn whatever I can about how to have good relationships. The MBTI, Enneagram, and Love Languages are not credited theories, but many people, including myself, have benefited greatly from them. Attachment Theory has been heavily studied and peer-reviewed. What I provide in this space is information on all these theories that I hope will be helpful in managing your relationships.
